October 1995: I began work as a Tilesetter. It was also the month OJ Simpson heard the “not guilty” verdict. Bill Clinton was President. Seven and Get Shorty were the top movies at the theater.
Since October of 1995, I’ve enjoyed/still enjoy a few different careers, but never quit setting tile. I like building things.
Showers and backsplashes: Those are now my specialties.

-February 16: Birthday. Still not a national holiday. Also the day in 600 A.D. that Pope Gregory declared “God bless you” as the appropriate response to a sneeze.
-1991: Graduated High School; not that I’m bragging or anything.
-1995: Graduated from Ouachita Baptist University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Double Major in History and Biblical Studies. Who doesn’t love a BOGO sale?
-October 1995: You’ve already read that part.
-2000: Courageously survived the Y2K Armageddon with bravery to spare.
-March 2000: Married first & only girlfriend, Sheree. Amazed and befuddled that I still get to wake up next to her.
-2001, 2004, 2005: 3 kids birthed with aforementioned girlfriend/wife. Full disclosure: My role in the birthing process was really pretty simple.
March 2021: Featured on 3 episodes of Sell This House on the A and E Network.
-Favorite color: Green. Vegetable: Asparagus. Singer: John Mayer.
-Despise: Watermelon.
-I brush my hair with a safety razor. I’m an actual FOS [Friend of Santa]. I’ve skimmed/read the dictionary 3 times. Spent 20 years as a full-time Photographer, joined the Speaker Team of the largest pro photo lab in America, recorded and published 200 episodes of a photography podcast. I’ve seen that Alice Cooper is the kindest man alive.
